Overview

The goal of this activity is to provide insights into the role of prebiotics in the regulation of the gut microbiota, constipation and hydration status of infants. Upon completion of this activity, participants will have a better understanding on the following:

  • Overview of the human mirobiota
  • The role of prebiotics in regulating the human gut microbiota, alleviating constipation and improving the hydration status of infants
  • The benefits of oligofructose-supplemented formula for infants
