About this course

Patient education aims to empower patients in actively managing their health in various settings, one of which is the community pharmacy setting. Possessing effective communication skills for medical counseling promotes a strong therapeutic alliance between the pharmacist and the patient and leads to medication safety and adherence.

This e-learning module highlights strategies on how to improve communication skills, overcome communication barriers, and establish trust with patients while upholding necessary ethical considerations in the community pharmacy setting.
