About

Psoriasis is a chronic, noncommunicable, inflammatory skin disease which affects millions of people globally. Among the classifications of the disease, psoriasis vulgaris or plaque psoriasis, is the most prevalent type. Psoriasis poses a serious impact on public health since individuals with this condition may develop multiple chronic comorbidities. In general, the role of primary care physicians in providing diagnosis, initiating optimal management, and timely referral is essential in improving quality of life among patients with psoriasis.

This e-learning module presents an overview on the diagnosis, practical approach, and therapy for psoriasis.
