Overview

The goal of this learning activity is to provide doctors with a comprehensive review on the role of non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOACs) for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation (SPAF). Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:


• Local and global burden of atrial fibrillation (AF)
• Modifiable AF risk factors and prevention strategies
• Current NOAC recommendations for SPAF
• The efficacy and safety profile of NOACs
• Real-world evidence of NOACs for SPAF
