The Malaysian Ministry of Health has recently incorporated hexavalent vaccines in the National Immunisation Programme (NIP). The goal of this learning activity is to provide doctors with a concise review of hexavalent vaccines and their benefits, as well as to address any potential knowledge gaps on their use among Malaysian healthcare providers. 

Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:
• Burden and impact of vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs)
• The updated Malaysian NIP
• Switching from pentavalent to hexavalent vaccines
• Advantages of a fully liquid hexavalent vaccine
