Overview
NEW!
Anticoagulation is the mainstay of treatment for thrombosis and thromboembolic complications associated with various disorders. Although the risk of bleeding is low with current oral anticoagulants, anticoagulation reversal may be indicated in the event of life-threatening bleeding or when emergency surgery is required in patients who are on anticoagulation therapy. The goal of this CPD module is to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive review of anticoagulant reversal therapy, including guideline recommendations and strategies for reversal of specific anticoagulants.
