Overview

NEW!

Fractures resulting from osteoporosis become increasingly common in postmenopausal women and men aged 65 years and older. Globally, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men over the age of 50 will experience an osteoporotic fracture. Notably, sufferers of these serious yet largely preventable injuries often experience severe pain, long-term disability and premature death. This video module reviews the role of denosumab as an effective long-term strategy for the management of osteoporosis.
