Helminthiasis is among the most common paediatric infection in developing countries, which can have chronic and disabling consequences for a child’s growth and development. Although easily preventable, helminth infections do not receive as much attention as other diseases.This module serves to reacquaint clinicians on the effects of helminthiasis in children and the integrated management of helminth infections, including individualised treatment, community management and preventive measures.
