Overview

The goal of this activity is to provide an update on iron-deficiency anaemia (IDA) and review the management of IDA, especially the use of oral iron therapy.


Upon the completion of this activity, participants will have a better understanding on the following aspects of IDA:

• Epidemiology

• Causes and risk factors

• Disease management recommendations

• Treatment and follow-up requirements

• Prevention strategy
