About this course

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is defined as symptoms or complications resulting from the reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus or beyond, into the oral cavity (including larynx) or lung. Prevalence is increasing in parts of Asia, and, thus, it is important for physicians to understand fully the disease, how it can be diagnosed, and which treatment options are available for their patients.
