Healthcare workers (HCWs) are not only at higher risk of influenza infection, but they can also be the source of infections to patients. Vaccination of HCWs plays a critical part in reducing the disease burden of influenza. The goal of this learning activity is to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive overview on the importance of immunisation for HCWs, while simultaneously highlighting practical strategies to increase vaccination coverage rate (VCR) among HCWs.
