About this course

The prevalence of cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA) is increasing globally. Although the identification of CMPA can be challenging owing to its diverse clinical manifestations, accurate diagnosis and early initiation of management plans can help to improve the quality of life of individuals with CMPA. This module focuses on the role of rice hydrolysates in the management of CMPA. Upon completion, participants in this module will gain insights into the following topics:

  • Prevalence of CMPA
  • Diagnosis of milk protein allergy
  • Alternatives to cow's milk-based formulae
  • Managing CMPA with hydrolysed rice protein formula
