Overview

COREC Module 1:

A focus on the risk factors and clinical presentation of CRC

As part of the COREC initiative, participants are invited to complete a series of six training modules, which aim to increase the awareness and knowledge of colorectal cancer (CRC) among primary care physicians. The goal of Module 1 is to provide doctors with a concise review of the risk factors and clinical presentation of CRC. Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:
  • Disease prevalence, mortality rates and demographics
  • Risk factors of CRC
  • Primary care referral
