About this course

Colonoscopy is the gold standard for colorectal cancer (CRC) screening. The goal of this learning activity is to provide insights into the importance of early detection and screening, as well as a concise review on the role of procedure-based screening in the management of CRC. Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following:

  • Barriers to screening
  • The types of endoscopic procedures
  • The advantages and limitations of each procedure
