About the course

Over the years, beta-blockers and calcium channel blockers have been the backbone of antianginal therapy, yet some patients continue to be symptomatic. Thus, second-line antianginal therapy is required to reduce angina attacks and nitroglycerin use. Upon completion of this module, participants will gain insights into the following aspects:

  • Prevalence and burden of angina pectoris
  • Latest guidelines on the management of stable coronary artery disease
  • Efficacy of a second-line antianginal agent in patients with frequent angina attacks
