The management of functional dyspepsia in clinical practice was presented by Professor Dr Tim Vanuytsel of University of Leuven, Belgium at the 5^th Asia Pacific Gastroenterology Summit 2018 in Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The different types of functional gastrointestinal disorders were discussed, mainly on the practical management of epigastric pain syndrome and postprandial distress syndrome.
