Overview

The goal of this learning activity is to provide insights into the role of nutrition in the cognitive development process of a child, particularly on myelination. Upon completion of this module,participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:

  • The importance of optimized nutrition in the first 5 years of life
  • The effects of various nutrients on myelination in supporting brain development
  • Strategies to improve magnetic resonance imaging procedures in infants and children
