About this course

The goal of this learning activity is to provide nurses with a concise review on the dietary and nutritional management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:
  • Nutritional management at every stage of the disease
  • Nurses’ role in diet and nutritional care
  • Available screening tools for patients at risk of nutritional issues
