Overview

About this course

The goal of this learning activity is to provide nurses with a concise review of their roles in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patient management and education. Upon completing this module, participants will have a better understanding of the following aspects:
  • General roles that nurses play in the management of patients with IBD
  • Pre- and post-surgical management
  • The relationship between IBD and coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
