Overview
Arthritis is a leading cause of disability, affecting more than 350 million people worldwide. Most patients do not see a rheumatologist for their arthritis; instead, they may go to a primary care provider, such as a general practitioner, family doctor, or other healthcare professionals. Importantly, the management of arthritis depends on the specific type of arthritis that the patient suffers from, with recent years witnessing a very rapid evolution of best practices in screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
In this webinar, leading experts from the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) will provide GPs and family doctors with the very latest clinical information and insights for managing arthritis in primary care practice – focusing on the management of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and gouty arthritis – and highlighting key updates from the APLAR 2022 Hong Kong Congress (6–9 December 2022).
